How was Beauty Fair Albania created?
The professional beauty fair was created as a market need for a genuine fair in the field of cosmetics, beauty and fashion. The first steps were one of the biggest difficulties, but big difficulties always bring good results. This is what happened with Beauty Fair Albania. In the beginning, the minimalist staff of 2 people wanted to get the license of a fair known in the world and bring it to Albania. I, Isida Mollaymeri, as the creator of this fair, really wanted it to be a fair like Sephora, Cosmoprof or The Touch of Paris held in the Balkans. I had been dealing with the management of several cosmetic companies for some time and I really wanted Albania to have a fair like those in the world. I have loved fairs since I was little, when I was in the first year of high school, I worked at the year-end fairs and I had nostalgia for those fairs that at that time were very well done, and the attendance was very high. I really saw it as the realization of a dream to have my fair today. The theater had nurtured my ambition to do things, but to do them well, I was used to always being the soloist, while the law school taught me that the letters and the knowledge of the laws allowed me to do everything in the right way. The business was between my art that I had grown up with since I was little, the great work that I had learned from my family and the knowledge that I got at school. It was the right time for all these to go in one line.And of all the deals I had for the prices for the negotiations, they turned out to be very high and I could not reach any agreement to obtain one of the above-mentioned patents. So, thinking for a long time, I said why not create an Albanian fair and make it international. I had done so many events and why not do this too. I also needed someone else and that’s how I invited a friend of mine, who became my colleague at the time, Eraldo Rexho, who supported my initiative since started telling him what I meant to do, and so, we decided to create a fair from the beginning. I chose a name, I chose the color that the fair would be represented for the first time, which was orange, I chose the image that was easily identifiable as the most beautiful Albanian girl, and that was Adrola Dushi, and so from October to January the brand and the legal papers were all done.A colossal work has been done in finding our collaborators, as we wanted the fair to be a fair, worthy of beauty. And when it comes to beauty and skincare, everything must be clean, sparkling and perfect for our eyes in the first place, and of course for the customer, who would agree to be part of this fair for the first time and would trust us in this such a colossal initiative, but above all, for the visitors of the fair who would also be our challenge in the market for the first year. The perfect place was, of course, the Congress Palace. After deciding who would make the stands, who would take care of the details and the lighting, the real work began in the field with the clients. In order to contact all the customers, it was very necessary to have someone else helping, as the Albanian market fortunately had many brands and the meetings had to be numerous to achieve a large brand profile for the first week, customer loyalty and a quite good flow even outside of Albania for the fair, as its first edition. Eraldo knew a girl named Sara Fani who I took to our small staff and she became a very good helper for us in meetings with clients and in the difficult days of setting up the fair, its days and dismantling, which it was both such a great happiness that everything had gone miraculously, as well as a sadness that it ended so quickly. We became a team of 3 people and looked like we were 30.
Why was Beauty Fair Albania created?
The most professional beauty fair was brought to Albania for the first time on May 17-18 and 19, 2019 at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. The first edition of the Fair once again proved people’s need for beauty, marking record numbers in participation. This significantly identifying the needs of consumers and the shortcomings of the market. In Albania, there was a lack of a professional fair where many distributors could have the opportunity to exhibit their products and all the firms they distribute, as the consumer was not informed that these well-known firms were also in Albania.
This fair came about thanks to the cooperation and consultancy with the organizers of the most important fairs in the world. The first edition of the Fair showed that the Albanian market lacked a fair of this level, significantly identifying how important a fair in this field was.
The media coverage in different media such as television, radio, newspapers, portals, social networks through journalists and different personalities influenced the atmosphere, discussions, and commitment of the participants, but also of other audiences to increase significantly and continue beyond the duration of the fair. They also had a big help from their friends who had a considerable number of followers who shared about the fair and the events throughout the day, but also bloggers who did not miss the 3 days commenting on the fair, the events, the stands, and the participating companies.
In colorful Albania, we chose to bring you one more color this spring. “Beauty Fair Albania” was born from the desire to increase the promotional spaces in the beauty sector and to bring together in one event some of the leading companies of this business in Albania. Of course, we also thought about you, the final consumers, so we are also standing for a Fair in which discounts from 10 to 50% would be applied.We also thought of you when we organized rewarding gifts for all buyers, who will have the opportunity to win two fantastic trips to the Greek islands, powered by Zenith Travel. Beauty Fair Albania 2021
On September 17-18-19, 2021, applying all the rules related to the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, Beauty Fair Albania took place in an open environment in one of the most beautiful and favorite squares for activities in Tirana, called “Sheshi Italia”(“Italy Square”). This space is in a very populated area in Tirana and is known differently by everyone with the unofficial name as the youth square, since it is very frequented by people at any moment of the day with bicycles, scooters, skateboards, using iPads or digitalgames that are the most “In” nowadays.
The fair was attended by the customers of the previous fair, as well as many new customers who had opened their businesses during quarantine in the field of cosmetics and aesthetics. In the premises of the fair, various activities and performances were held, aimed not only at information, but also at the education, entertainment, and involvement of all participants, both exhibitors and visitors of the fair. These activities that included workshops, internships to get to know the most innovative machines for aesthetics, fashion shows with young designers in the field of fashion, a special show for hair and beard styling, internships for young people who aimed to win full scholarships offered by Beauty Fair Albania, culminated in a very important social event entitled “You are beautiful… Beauty is a woman…” with the participation of representative women from various fields, which was dedicated to Afghan girls and women and the support given by our country for them, combining it with the importance of empowering Albanian women in various aspects of life. The power of the female contribution in Albania is very important for Beauty Fair Albania.
The activity of Beauty Fair Albania 2021, in its three days, has been widely reflected in the media, including both traditional and digital media through chronicles, reports, articles, interviews, numerous posts, various games, gifts and rewards. Journalists, influencers, bloggers, and various personalities have covered the activities of the fair, engaging in interaction not only the participants and visitors to the fair, but also other followers.

This year Beauty Fair Albania completes 5 successful years and why is it the fourth event since 2020 was a difficult year without any activity.
Beauty Fair Albania 2023 took place on May 5/6/7 with a great success in both participants and visitors, showing even during this edition that Beauty Fair Albania is the most successful event of beauty and cosmetic products in Albania.

During this edition, several very valuable and interesting activities took place:
- The first show of BFA 2023 was the opening event of the fair on May 4 with influencers, journalists, friends and professionals in the field of beauty and cosmetics. The arrangements made by Geraldina Sposa, the music by DJ Sardi were accompanied by delicious food and drinks from Alar catering.
- Loreal masterclass and professional show organized by The Beauty Hub was another super success of the fair.
- The well-known Toscani company, with foreign and Albanian doctors, organized for 7 hours a workshop for products and machines with the latest technology from the well-known BTL apparatus firm, which was also a participant in the fair.
- The support event for little Dion, only 8 months old, diagnosed with a tumor. In addition to the fair participants, even the visitors of Beauty Fair Albania 2023 helped and supported financially.
- Gifts from all participants of the fair, gifts from Southoutdor Festival, gifts from Albora – pearl field watch with diamonds, and 6 travel tickets for all buyers of Beauty Fair Albania 2023.
Both traditional and digital media have widely covered the activities of Beauty Fair Albania during the first five editions, in all the days of the events, through chronicles, reports, articles, interviews, numerous posts, various games, gifts and rewards for participants, buyers and visitors.
